Brand Paul Lebrun

The story of this iconic trademark begins with Elise and Henri Lebrun who founded and named the house in 1902. Their successors Marie-Louise and Paul Lebrun renamed the brand to Paul Lebrun, continuing honouring their parents’ heritage by accentuating the quality of Cramant wines. In 1970 Marie-Paule and Jean Vignier started managing the business and renamed it Vignier-Lebrun in 1984. Today the continuers of the brand are Marie-Louise’s and Paul’s granddaughter Nathalie and her brother Jean Vignier who represent the sixth generation of the family business.

However, reaching as far as ten generations back in time, this winery has been building on experience from their ancestors who traditionally produced wine. The house lies partly within "Côte des Blancs" in Cramant, one of the 17 villages labeled as Grand Cru in Champagne. The rest of the properties are situated in Sézannais. The Vignier-Lebrun champagne accents the unique and rich taste of Chardonnay. Their grapes are cultivated on Calcareous lands rich in nutrients, on hillsides south of Épernay.

The Paul Lebrun champagne is perfect for a number of occasions. It can be lively and generous, delicate and elegant, light and fruity, powerful and spicy...
