This winery was founded in 1919 by Henry-Léopold Tabourin who named the house after his mother, a widow (“veuve“) – Veuve J. LANAUD. Today the house is situated in Avize, surrounded by Champagne’s major sites: Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and others.
The production process remains faithful to the purest traditions. It embodies passion and the art of living. The winery respects the environment and brings its consumers the most valuable heritage of this rich area.
It is essential that champagne pleases one’s taste buds and that it accompanies well the present moment in one’s life. One is not always in the same mood and state of mind, so it is possible to appreciate different champagnes at different moments. Every taster likes and is sensitive to different flavours. Therefore it is essential to enjoy the degustation, be able to comment on one’s experiences of the wine, and share all the sensations that champagne has to offer.
